Ok so I drilled my immortal pearl with a pin c vmb 3 layout where would you guys suggest placing the weight hole to still allow the ball to get down lane yet maximize backend reaction

Do you happen to know your stats?

PAP
Axis tilt
axis Rotation.
Ball speed
Rev rate

how much top and side weight after drilling?

Whats the ball doing now?
What type of lane condition are you going to use it on?

There is no magic crystal ball that says put hole here, then ball works great.

Do you happen to know your stats?

PAP = 4 9/16> 1/4^
Axis tilt = 15*
axis Rotation= 45-50*
Ball speed=17.5mph
Rev rate=450

how much top and side weight after drilling?not sure I can get it weighed

Whats the ball doing now? The ball has almost 0 backend I have to play a super tight line and stay close to center arrow area I figured I'd be able to open up the lane once the shot broke down but that is not the case the only thing I feel it could be is the layout i have tried the surfaces of (2000+polish,1000dull,3000dull,4000dull)with no improvement in the reaction
What type of lane condition are you going to use it on?
43'ths on wood lanes
There is no magic crystal ball that says put hole here, then ball works great. Oh I'm aware of that i had numerous people say use a p1 hole to combat the high diff/flare of the Immortal pearl..

a P1 is going to lessen the flair more.

You wanna get south of the midline,  thats why the topweight matters after drilling.

I would try 2" down the the val, start with a decent size hole and keep increasing as needed \ can stay static legal.
