Anybody still using the Frankie May?
«

I bought one a while back but never had it redrilled to fit my hand. I was bored last week so I had it drilled up. I will get a chance to use it Friday. Just wondering if this ball is still in anybody's bag and how well they like or liked it.

I use it every week. I like the ball but, havent' really shot anything large with it yet. Still averaging a 210 with it.

I liked mine, but I never saw enough oil for the drilling I had on it, so when someone asked how much for it, it was gone. He loves the ball(he also throws much harder than I do).

The time to use an FMG is when the mids don't read well. Longer patterns where you don't want snap off the friction/spot. This would not be most THS lane conditions for most folks unless they are low rev.

I still have mine, at 1.500 wet sanded, pin 4.5 stacked under the ring finger. It is my tournament/league ball for medium-oily and fresh lanes. Great piece, if I could only find enough oil to use it... Strong and versatile ball! Highly recommended, IMHO you can make it handle anything except for extreme wet or dry conditions. Love it!

Thanks for the replies everyone! My FMG looks like it was polished. I think I will put it on the spinner with 2000 abralon and see how it rolls.
