Immortal Pearl
« on: September 27, 2009, 04:25:15 AM »
Had a new Immortal Pearl drilled up about a week plus ago.  Threw it the first couple games and saw what I was hoping not to see....a ball that was basically burning up.  Ball is drilled pin just under the ring with CG slightly kicked to the right I believe.  Main reason for burnup in my opinion is the coverstock change to 2000 abralon.

Had it polished up and threw it today.  All I can say is WOW....what a world of difference.  Ball reads a little later than it was before, but has a strong, solid move to the pocket.  Very much so looking forward to using it in league!!

Hope you can be the next one using an IP to roll a 300........like Gary did....that would make two Gary's in short time.

I think mine is pin above the fingers and I know that I had polished it with Perfect It 2 recently which gave it a nice reaction for me - almost exactly like the one you just described.

I hope you have as much success with it as I did and like it with the newly polished surface.
