I am interested in getting one, but I have a couple questions. How dry do the lanes need to be for this ball? Also can they be too dry to get enough length out of this ball? I have medium revs and 17-21 mph ball speed. I just don't run into that dry of conditions that often except sometimes after leagues to bowl 20 dollar pot games. What needs can I expect this ball to fill?

Used mine last night for the first time in league. Lanes played very flat, more you tried to loop it the less it recovered and the more you tried to square up, the earlier it hooked. Then the heads broke down to make it really interesting.

After trying every trick in the book, I pulled out the BGC and went 18-13 with it. Even at OOB finish, it still made it through the heads pretty easily.  Ball is drilled label pin above and right of ring finger.

Ball makes a real predictable move and hits like a wet sandbag. Looking forward to trying it on other conditions.

ALso, the stock cover is 1000 grit matte. It takes to changes easily. I've tried 2000, 4000 and various polishes. All work great. I stick with 2000 grit matte.

With your ball speed, I'd try the stock 1000 and see just how much dry it cna handle for you. Abralon pads work just fine adjusting the surface.

I have a 2nd one polished just in case, rarely need it.
