I think I'm in love. Finally got the chance to drill this beauty up and let it strut its stuff on our last night of league. The ball was very smooth the first couple of practice shots, didn't have quite the angularity I expected, but still continued through the pins and hit well. I initially attributed it to the particles smoothing out the reaction. But then I intentionally tried to throw one through the break point, and suddenly the angularity appeared. I realized the ball was just burning up a bit, and the continuation through the pin deck had fooled me. I kept the faster speed and went 268, 269, 279 for 816 right out of the box. The thing I really liked was that as the shot broke down, the ball just smoothed out a bit but still hit the pocket and had enough continuation to carry. With my ball roll (fairly high rotation and very little tilt), many times the ball will grab early and jump through the nose when the shot dries out. The Raven let me know it was time to move without a penalty. How sweet is that?
