Be careful with that baby g-thang.  It will hook out easy if not used on right condition.  If playing a tight line sport condition great ball.  Pretty condition specific for me.

Me too Jim!!  LOL!!  Not gonna be drilled up anytime soon.  Got stuff that's got to go first, including a Gladiator Solid, Blue Centaur Particle, possibly the Slate Blue and my 'old' stuff....last Hammer sitting in my house that's still drilled for me....the Vicious Reactive.

Scott....not sure what I will do to be honest.  Gonna talk to Jason and see what his thoughts are as he knows how I throw.  Also going to look at a Greenie....just for kicks I think.

Gary,

Yes hook out meaning not enough oil or playing to large of a swing and ball burning up to carry well.  I figure you to be a very good bowler that is not a stand left throw right kind of bolwer.  In my experience PIE is best played on a tight line on flatter conditions where you don't need to cover a lot of boards.  Least that's the way it played for me.

I'd like to find another PIE and put Snake Oil over OOB.  More particle pearlish in the sense of the word most think of balls like a DT VPP. More of a worn wood type house.

This is my delima right now. I dont know if I should put polish on my Purple Ice or not. I bowl two second shifts and two first shifts. Wednesday nights lines get burned quick be it that its a scratch league and i primarily drilled it to battle with carrydown.
Ah forget it. I'm going to do it anyways and put some snake oil on it!

Well, I have 2 that are NIB, 2 plugged and 1 thats drilled as far as the Charcoal.

1 drilled Crimson and 1 NIB Crimson. Also 1 used on the way.

1 Drilled PIE and one NIB PIE.

Hmmmm.....I think you might be making me out to be better than I am!!  LOL!!

No, I don't simply stand left and throw right.  I don't play the big hook as I throw much more of a controlled ball and will never....never....ever be confused with someone who can turn the ball!!  

Now....just want to make sure you know, that wasn't a PIE....simply the Charcoal.  I would like to get my hands on a PIE next though!!  When I was throwing all Hammer....that was one of my best balls...the Diesel Particle Pearl, simply because for me, with the way it was drilled, it was more of a control ball....for drier lanes and it allowed me to play the same lines I like to play.  Actually....the Deal was my favorite.....but stupid me sent that puppy off to Spike some years ago....and I never got a chance to get it back.  That was one of my all time favorites from Ebonite/Hammer.
