Loss of reaction with a Midnight Scorcher
« on: January 05, 2009, 11:59:09 PM »
Recently I noticed a total loss of reaction with my Midnight Scorcher--I should say my first one, which I bought used a couple years ago. I have a new one that I just got within the past 2 months, so it's not an issue to really bring it back to life at this point but what I wanted to ask is, would my "dead" scorcher be a better choice to go to when the lanes are drier overall and especially on the outside 10 boards where I perfer to play, rather than my infrared amulet(plastic cover with a performance core)? Ball death if there is such a thing just affects the cover, right?, the properties of the core should still be in tact, so even "dead" would the fact that the scorcher is urethane based and that it has a stronger core hit harder like it is than my amulet would?

Thanx,

Brad

The ball is not ment for dry, "dead ball" or not. If you are having success with your IR you should use that.
I sent you a PM...

Correctamundo NorCal.....MS is burnt out.  Wrong ball for the lane condition.
