Overlap w/ OGRES?

Right now I have the Ogre and have the SS on its way would there be overlap in the reaction of them if I got the pearl as well?  Or where abouts would that one fit in that arsenal?

In my opinion  -
If you sanded the Ogre solid very fine, like 4000 grit or polished it, then it can overlap too much with the Ogre Black/Purple. If you kept the Ogre solid dull or even matte (1000 - 2000 grit), it should not overlap too much, as long as you kept the Blurple stock or polished.

Ok, thanks for the imput.  Ill just keep the Solid at Matte, and then there wont be some overlapping!  Just another quick q.  I know that the SS has that Destroyer coverstock and the pearl has something else, but how much does that change their reactions?  Because I beleive they both are at 1500 polish.

Difference between 1000 abralon more matte appearance and 2000 abralon vs. 4000 abralon with no polish in any of them is a lot. OOB 600 grit is to mch surface for me but that's me. I'm having problems right now matching up on some synthetic surfaces with high humidity this week on Tues. lil less on Wed.

A lot...Pearl with Eradicator OOB 1500 polished is an arcing ball like the Solid.  SS with Destroyer OOB 1500 polished is skid snap.  Depends what reaction you are looking for on what pattern with your technique and how ball is laid out.

IMO...Visionary's pearl covers have always been one of their mainstays.  Something they do very well.  Look at what they've done in the past all of these balls I've liked Orange Warlock, Crimson Ex, Blue Sparkle, G-3, etc.

just adjusted the surface of my Ogre Solid from 600 w/light compound to 2000 abralon light coat of compound and no overlap with the Ogre Pearl or SS. It is saving more for the backend but still rolls very strong w/smooth arc,it pushes about 5-6 feet further down the lane which was needed to combat the indoor air conditions that have been affecting lane play.

According to the website, it's a solid with mica:

Mica is the stuff added to make a ball a pearl ball, but large bits of mica were used as a sort of early proto-particle.  It's more like a solid particle than a pearl reactive.
