Just placed an order with visionary and bought 5 balls (only drilling 4)
I have a slate drilled label leverage,
a crimson executioner drilled stacked leverage,
and a charcoal executioner drilled 315 deg drill. (I already have a char
exe drilled label leverage)

I am wondering what to do with the purple ice. Do I just drill it
label leverage like the char, or do I drill it up stronger?

When I brought this up about the charcaol I was told label drillings work
best. Just want to make sure the same is true for the purple.

this is one odd ball. it hits a ton, you just have to get it working.

I redrilled it and changed the shell. thrown it on all kinds of shots.

I say go strong with the drilling. it doesn't flair much anyway but seamed to make the reaction better. also leave it dull at first.

this thing is awesome on over/under lanes. when all your other balls are working this one will.

So more like a stacked or 10:30 leverage drilling.

I seem to like the leverage position with this core.
I even have the 315 in a leverage position.

Eric,

My PI is drilled label with the pin next to the finger and the CG in the palm, leaving the MB neck right next to the thumb. This ball is snappy as hell on synthetic lanes, it also does flare a pretty decent amount (4+") too on fresh oil.

On wood lanes it rolls as soon as it hits the lane and arcs all the way to the pin curtain.

I left the cover at 600 grit factory.

You'll need head oil or it will become a meteorite entering the atmosphere, or you can polish it up some.

If you like your Char Ex I'd use the same drill since they're pretty much two different balls.
