Mixed Breed Crossover
« on: November 27, 2012, 03:27:32 PM »
Visionary just announced that the new Mixed Breed Crossover will begin shipping November 29th. A hybrid cover on the Mixed Breed should be dynamic. Can't wait to get my hands on one.

Got ball drilled today..  41' stone st on new Prolane.  Wasnt sure what to expect as the classic is more a midlane arcy kinda ball.

Pics tomorrow..  put the "v" 2" below my pap (pap is 4-> 3/4 up) 5 1/2" pin to pap and 55 on the Val.  Pin is just above and left of the middle finger.   Was hoping I could get a little farther left and play the mids..  Worked great, ball finishes STRONG on the back end, but glides through the mids.  Will shoot the video over the weekend and hope to have it up by Christmas.

** edit **. BTW shot 728 and had more than a few people ask what I was throwing

** edit **  Life gets in the way (well actually more the wife)  had to put it off till next weekend.

I agree with Matt C! I drilled mine today and I wanted something for oil and I got it and then some!!! I put the pin above the bridge with the "V" 2-12" below my pap and it gets down the lane with ease and covers more boards than I've ever covered on the fresh condition!! We use a modified Stone St. that is shortened to 40' and it played more like Easy St. that's been bowled on!! I shot 668 with one open and left a lot of 9/'s and probably should of used my AMB Bronze, but I was having to much fun!!!
I drilled mine similar to Matt C's Mixed Breed pearl with the pin above the bridge! I don't know if I'd be able to use the solid if it hooks more than the Crossover!

Couple years ago Jason was in Dallas area for TCBA Nationals.  This was when Spartan and New Breed Crossover were out.  We toyed around shooting both balls and I really wanted a Crossover....but asked Jason to take down an extra Spartan with him for me....so I never got the ball.

This I might need to make an exception for....though wondering just how much stronger it's gonna be over the Mixed Breed.

Bowling on a 'Main Event' type place that's actually taking to maintaining the lanes.  Lanes are not heavily oiled at all as I find myself struggling to start with anything stronger than a Gladiator Pearl and sometime find myself even tossing the Blue Green Centaur in warmups just to see what I have with it.

Really debating on something new beside a Gladiator LE to play with though....and think this or the Pearl would be real nice.

Granted its only been 1 week, but this ball is quite a bit stronger than the original solid in my opinion.

I will see if I see the same reaction tonight that I saw last thursdays, and I'll let you know tomorrow.

Week 2 and still impressed, still good length and plenty of pop on the backend.  I think what i like the most is the continuation I am getting on this ball.  Filming video Saturday, and hope to have it up at some point on Sunday
