Title: NBPP Surface
Post by: scotts33 on January 12, 2010, 09:40:10 PM
Found a surface I am liking at least for one night on transitioned and carried down lanes.  Took it to 1000 abralon to pull the particle up so you can feel the fuzz.  Then, put a very light application of Legends polish over.  Legends polish for me is the easiest to adjust as far as amount to apply to give the smaller amount I want.  This gave it a light shine but still a sheen looking cover.

Last game the AMB - Bronze Centaur OOB 1500 polished I drilled for this condition was skating on the carry down and not rolling and hitting consistently.  I took out the NBPP in the 4th frame and struck out.  This might be what I am looking for now.

Ordinarily, I would not consider taking a ball down that low and polish but with the Leviathan cover...I have been looking for the fuzzy feel where the particles will grab in the carry down and the NBPP will finish thru the deck.  I may have found it....still testing.

For those that are seeing what I am seeing carried down lanes fully transitioned pulled down from head heavy volume as long as you have some axis rotation.  Two nights in a row last 7-8 when I went to the NBPP at 1000 ab with a slight amount of Legends polish to get it thru the heads and a heavy roll.

Your game may not match up to mine or what I am seeing but I am impressed.  I haven't had a ball like this since a Bruns Navy Fuze that picked up hard on the back end and rolled thru carry down and hit hard enough to carry the 10.

I have other equipment for house shots I am saving the NBPP for this type of condition.

Sounds good. I just got one yesterday I'm going to try it OOB but it will probably need some tweaks to get down lane.
