The Crimson Executioner is a gem in disguise. Even though it has a pearl cover, that heavy midlane movement allows you to play on more oil. Quite frankly my Crimson is a monster, drilled 5x4 with the MB strong, it has a mean backend reaction. It definitely will turn over on medium to heavy oil while I'm playing straight up, and will recover well when swinging lighter patterns with hardly no energy loss. This ball is soooo good for me, that I don't need to bring anything else when I bowl.
I really want to get a Charcoal Ex, but I'm afraid with my revs, it won't make it half way down the lane before flying off.
The Gargoyle core seems to have just a bit less midlane movement and a tad more backend, but the hit and carry are no different. That Granite is one of the most versatile balls I've ever seen thrown.
