Whne you think about the balls they've brought out last couple of years. Blue Slate, B/G Centaur & Violet these are all balls less than .045 differential and lower hookers well B/G Centaur and Slate are. So, bringing out higher hookers make sense the AMB Centaur Particle basically replaced the Scorcher. AMB Solid the Charcoal and AMB Pearl the Crimson Executioner.....althought the AMB core is way different than the Executioner core. I'd say these balls were brought out to replace the ones I mentioned.
Maybe the Immortal is more like the Green Gargoyle or G2 ???

It seems that everyone is overly concerned with the balls Flare. Understand that every bowling ball has the POTENTIAL to flare to a certain degree based on the layout on the ball.
The biggest problem with the flare will come when you drill the ball 3 3/8 as this would be the strongest hooking position from CG to PAP.
Because of the ball's POTENTIAL to flare, that is what is going to make it such a great addition to the current Visionary line. Those of us who like to go deep will probably be able to really get comfortable 20 and deeper as we were with the G-3.
