I have two Immortal Solids.
#1 is drilled with the pin under the bridge and the cg kicked right about 45 degrees with a weight hole on the VAL. I keep this ball as close to the dull box condition as I can.
With this I get a ball that rolls a little early when it reacts to dry but gives a very good, arcing, driving back end. The ball doesn't quit. Don't hit the dry too early though. I am able to play deeper with this ball than most and still maintain hit and carry.
#2 is drilled with the pin over the brige and the cg kicked right about 50 degrees with a very small weight hole on the VAL. I have polished this ball up to about 1200.
With this drill and ball I get excellent length and great finish and hit. With this polish, it doesn't like carrydown but is very playable through the first two games.
Very different looks out of these two balls and in many ways compliment each other. In fact, I have had people ask me if they really are the same ball because of the vastly different look I get out of the two balls with the drill difference and surface difference.
