First night with The Classic!
« on: January 29, 2013, 10:45:04 AM »
I received this ball last week, but thanks to the flu I didn't get to drill it until yesterday!! I was debating on the layout and because I have most of my VBP balls drilled pin up I decided to go pin down below ring finger. Ball rolls really smooth with a really strong arc breakpoint. Shot 226 with an open/split operator error, 217 missed 10 pin first frame/operator error. The last game I struck, then left a 9 pin, struck and left a 4 pin, then struck to the second ball in the 10th frame and left another 9 pin for a 249 and 692 series!! All in all I really love the smoothness with power I saw with this ball. I moved seven boards deeper the last game and the ball came alive. I didn't move fast enough in the second game and I decided to make the big move to see what The Classic would do!! Really nice ball from Visionary!!! Thanks again to Betsy!!! Just my $.02, Bruce

For me the Classic is a really good ball on med oil with some backends, I have trouble with it on wetter shots.

That said my brother is addicted to his. He has had more 700's this year than ever, and his average is up to 212 which is about 10 pins above his best average.

Nice notes on both for Classic!!

Funny thing is that when I started throwing Visionary, all of a sudden game got better...average crept up and wham....300s started coming and average really went up.

Ball selection and match up were the best with them...still are!!

I have had my Classic since it was released to the general public. This ball is very versatile and reads the lanes very well. It is always the first ball out of my bag. So far this season I have rolled an 813 series and average 238 with the Classic. Although this ball is still going strong I just ordered another one and will drill it pin down for a different look. This ball is a must have for bowlers looking for a ball that will work well on all but extreme conditions. When the lanes start getting dry I go to my Mixed Breed Pearl, a great one - two punch.
