Strider and Krumpy300,
I maybe on the minority on this but at least from what I see and my technique/rev rate, etc. Higher flaring balls give me the majority of the time slightly more miss room to the outside. A strongly laid out Cell for me would be a good example gives me more miss wityhou the over reaction some would see with an angular break point like a Virtual Gravity and go thru the face. This would be on heavier oil of course. Cell is high flaring but smoother off break point.
The Visionary ball that most could compare to a Cell for track flare and ball motion would be an FMG.
Sooooo an Ogre Particle even with a high friction cover and going away from the pocket on a more even lane condition would not recover if missed outside than an FMG or a Cell. Just because it doesn't have the differential/core/motor and flare ability of the other two balls.
Now take that Ogre Particle put a lil polish on it and it's great for evening out wet/dry house walls. If figure you just have to lay it out for your stats. The same could be a said for a Ogre Solid which was great on a house wall for me with appropriate surface. I didn't like either Ogre on even flatter lane conditions unless I was going at the pocket rather than away from it.
Hope I make sense.
