Used Snake Oil on high speed on a spinner, much more usable ball now clear the heads ok and still hooks nice and smooth the whole lane.

Yes right on top of box,polished up really well not marble look at no means but it is shiny.

FWIW, I altered the surface on a granite gargoyle ( same cover as ogre particle ) to 1000 abralon and lots of polish.  Polished it so much it got pretty shiny and didn't have that "rough" feel anymore.

  Ball was very good like this.  Was still strong enough to read the oil pattern and start its move in midlane, but conserved energy longer and was smooth off the breakpoint, but deceptively strong for a ball this smooth and predictable.

  The ogre particle has a lower diff rating than the gargoyle did ( less flare potential ), so it might be just a touch weaker on carrydown when polished than the gargoyle was.
