I sanded mine to 220 grit wet sand paper. Hooks a lot but of course it doesn't bounce of the dry like reactive. Great ball!

Update:  Used the Ogre Urethane last night in my Wed. 5 man league.  Took it to 2000 abralon and started with it down and in right up 8 board.  237.  Ball started getting a spotty reaction and I put it up.   Finished with NBPP moving in a perfect 1-2 combo.

I might have to give this Ogre a try, love the Blurple I just picked up BUT it's a Strong ball. The SS I have is a backend monster and hard to play off the dry.now that I'm getting a good idea how these things roll I'm thinking it be a good ball for me.

Latest on my OU. I sanded to 400 hit it with Secret Sauce on the spinner. Works great on a house shot. Try one you'll like it.

I'd agree people are selling this ball short with the hook monsters out there.  If your house is not putting out a medium - high volume of oil and it's wet/dry like the majority that I know about and see the OU with some surface and relatively strong drill will allow you to play right down the track where most of us used to bowl

Your comfort zone down in the track area try an OU.

Last night, I tried the OU in practice and then went to a G/B Centaur label 1:30 drilled at 2000ab moved feet 3 boards left and bellied it a bit more gave me more miss room.  Carry was good til end of 1st game in this center after transition changed equipment and moved in more.

Bowl 5 man after 4 person mixed with old poly and old urethane use in the mixed league.  Move outside of them playing a type of up and atom shot from lay down 7 arrows 8 to 1-3.  Needs speed and up the back release w/ forward roll.  Their carry down allows hold area built up in front of pocket.

Guys on my team pushed out oil to my line and created an iffy backend reaction so I moved to my G/B moved in and swung to that area.  Carry wasn't as good as playing a direct line.  Direct line on these carried down lanes is definitely the best carry line.  VG users sucked up what lil was left in heads.

Thanks Gary.

six pack,

I read thru it.  Suggestion...drill it the way you want it. No questions after you try it with a 2" pin.  Mine rolls early.
