« on: May 01, 2014, 11:29:44 AM »
Just heard from Jason with great news in terms of Visionary equipment and the Nationals.

1st place in Women's Singles, 1st place Bowler's Journal Senior Doubles (not sure what this is), Open Championship Doubles, 6th and 7th in All Events (assuming singles) and 6th and 13th in Team All Events.

Not a bad showing at all....congrats to all throwing VBP and throwing it well!

How does one buy Visionary bowling balls?  Can any pro shop order them for their customers on a one-off basis?

I believe that any pro shop can order the balls directly from Visionary, yes.  Depending on how many you are looking at getting, take a look at their website to see about the test staff options as you get a little more and can make use of getting balls for better price than what the pro shop will probably charge.

I thnk the Sr. Jr. doubles is someone over 50 and someone under 50.  50 is prob wrong, but that is what it is.   I think it was Staffer Poelzer and his son.

Father/Son duo take over the doubles lead at the USBC Open Championships.

Visionary Staff Member Clark Poelzer just finished taking over the doubles lead at the Bowlers Journal Championships, and has now taken over the doubles lead with his son Carl at the Open Championships.

Using the Samurai, Clark shot 704, while is son Carl used the new Gryphon SE to shoot 761. The duo shattered the previous leader by 62 pins, with a total pinfall of 1465.

Carl also shot a huge 2155 to take over 6th place in all events.

The great scores keep rolling in from Reno. While visiting our booth, Dave Williams decided to purchase the Gryphon Special Edition and a Samurai, and proceeded to light up the lanes with them.

Dave used both the Samurai and the Gryphon SE in team event, with games of 258, 255, 255 for a nice 768 series. He followed that up in Doubles shooting 729 with the Samurai, and a 655 in singles with the Gryphon SE.

His 2152 puts him in 7th place for All events and his 729 helped place him in 15th place for Doubles. Congratulations Dave!
