Making a comback
« on: October 24, 2007, 10:46:26 AM »
Guys, I used to be on this board alot.. But after a one year retirement.. I decided to start hacking away again.. Outta of the new Visionary Stuff .. Which would you recommend for a Big Monster Ball .. The last ball I got from Jason was a Brozne AMB and the ball would recover from anywhere.. Looking at the AMB-IMMORTAL Solid I am guessing that would be the ball .. But the one problem I did have with the Bronze Amb ( Besides looking like a gold rhino ) was the ball didn't read the front part of the lane very well.. So guys shoot away ..

I'd go with the Ogre Solid.. Ball is a great ball, that takes surface adjustments like it is nothing!! I would highly recommend this ball to "coming back" players as it is very user friendly.

Audric,

Did you give up on regionals?  I remember your past problems was that Visionary didn't register with the PBA........that has not changed.

What past Visionary balls did you like?  What conditions?

Yes,I gave the dream for personal reason .. I can throw Visionary in Amt. stuff..I miss the perk of telling other young black kids that it's o.k. to bowl but I can do the same throwing Jason's stuff.Jason and Visionary, have been there And after a year off... good posting of the stuff( equipment) being loyal .. A bad engagement .. I am back. Shoot, my long time pro shop  is on the verge of retirement .. many reason of why I walked away for  a year .. but I am back .. first practice session is today .. and I'll see how it goes. But I miss the sport . too many good times in my life to leave it completely.

I LOVED the Burgandy Gryphon ... LOVED is not the word .. 1500 in a weekend is more than love..with my game ( when back to normal ) that ball gave me control and just flat out hook .. I haven't forgotten much in a year .. but everything  just looks likes it hooks .. And living in San Antonio .. I got 900 global right here .. It's not like I am begging .. but for my game .. with my weird tilt .. Visionary just matches up ... I got 40 to 60 degree axis tilt .. I got the College spin slash tilt.. as my " A" game .. So I love the Blue Sparkle and the Burgundy. What I disliked .. bronze .. too much skid .. even if the head were dry . I put a 5 by 5 in that one with weight hole  and THE GRAY GHOST! OHH MY GOD! .. Only the 4000 pad and 1500 Strom polish work on that one .. and I would only get the lily out 75% of the time with the horror of backends in San Antonio . ( Astro Sports Center ( which got bought ) ( finally ) but lost ALL the Bowlers. I love wood but I have too know that syns are the way to go, so I have to re - toll myself .. And be ready ..
