In all honesty, it's what works well for me. I've done different drills with the pin above and pin below, etc.....but what I've always found is that drills with the pin where they are have always worked best for me.

Still limited use on the Blue/Green. SS has gotten some use, but as I mentioned in other thread.....had to take polish down.....I'm not a fan of the long and strong ball so this gives me something more controlled...earlier read....more usable overall.
G3 saw a 300 last night....so I can't complain. I really like how this balls rolls!! Allows me the flexibility of playing all three of my games as well!!

PAP 5" over, 7/8" up righty, 275-325 RPM/~14 hand revs, 14-15mph ball speed.

Ball is more of a dull red, not the typical flourescent red that seems to be standard. Great piece with this setup on medium to oily lanes for me, surface is at 1.500 grit. VERY versatile, a ball you can do a LOT with, on almost any condition but extremes.

Pin is in the ring finger - I actually wanted to have the same setup as the FMG, but the longer pin distance did not allow it. Solid performer with more length and easier through the heads as my FMG. Does not like AnviLane surfaces, though, only drawback so far.

More or less stacked leverage - it was the first specimen to be drilled at my pro shop, we did not know much about the ball's overall potential. Today I'd drill it much weaker, with the pin above the fingers, but even with the strong layout it still works wonders on scorched lanes. It just breaks and hooks pretty early, but hardly burns out. A unique piece.

G3 saw a 300 last night....so I can't complain. I really like how this balls rolls!! Allows me the flexibility of playing all three of my games as well!!
