Hope all is okay with no only the plant and the Wonders Family, but for the city of St Louis as well. Any updates? Hopefully Jason will post something soon. Going to check his Facebook Page and see if he mentioned anything.

It wasn't pretty here. A lot of damage reported but thankfully very few injuries. Lambert airport though has been shut down untill monday or tuesday. Just found out one of my customers is stuck out of town and is having problems getting back in because of it. I'm hearing a lot of "close calls" though from friends of mine that live where the tornado touched down at.

I just heard from Jason. He said that the tornado hit a few miles from the plant but everything is ok. However, the surrounding areas took a beating. Someone was watching over them. He even said that the tornado approached his house, went over it, and then hit the ground again a few blocks away. Awesome to hear everything is okay and no serious injuries/fatalities.

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your kind words. We managed to make it through the storm without any real damage, but I can't say the same for everyone in the area. Yesterday I went out and tracked the path of the tornado, and it looks as though it came down a few miles from our plant, and then followed a 19 mile path that led straight over my house. According to reports, when the tornado reached the Mississippi river (about 3/4 of a mile from my house) it lifted off the ground, and then set back down 4 blocks from me.
Unfortunately, several of my friends had pretty severe damage to their houses, including one that had their house pretty much demolished. Thankfully they were able to get through it without any bodily injury. Houses can be replaced, but lives cannot!
The most amazing thing about this tornado, is that not one person was killed. With all of the destruction, it is amazing to know that everyone made it out alive.
Thanks again,
Jason

Wow, yeah I haven't been on in a long time either... (about 3 years). And I'm really glad to hear everything is alright out there with you and your family Jason. I have relatives that live in Wichita Kansas, and my grandpa spends half his time in shelbyville IL, so I know what its like to have friends and family affected by tornadoes like that. And it really is a bum deal. Hope for a fast and safe recovery for everyone that was effected by it.
