Purple Ogre
« on: December 04, 2010, 10:05:03 AM »
I just purchased one from Raiderh20boy recently because I wanted something a little stronger than my B/G. Anyone who has one have any suggestions on a layout that would be smooth like the B/G. There are times when I need a little more than what the B/G can deliver and thats why I picked up the Purple Ogre. Thank for input on this subject. Carlos

Unless you have a lot of axis tilt or use a high pin with a small VAL angle, this Ogre is pretty even reacting with most drillings.  For the most part the Ogre Pearl will be much like the BGC (assuming the "B/G" you mention is the Blue Green Centaur) - fairly smooth and a great assist in eliminating over/under.

Thanks Charlest maybe if I drill it the  same as the B/G Centuar I will get that little something extra that I'm looking for. Thanks for your help. Carlos
