chi,

I an another thread I started this what Jason Wonders said verbatim....
*******************************************************************************

""Hi Scott,

The Purple/Black is a strong pearl. It uses the Eradicator Pearl, which handles more oil and carrydown than any of our other Pearlized coverstocks (and is stronger than some of the particle pearls I have tested). I know everyone wants us to come out with a Pearl Particle, but it isn't coming just yet.
The Silver/Blue (which will be out in a couple months) is more like the Green Gargoyle, in that it is more of a skid/snap ball. Not great for carrydown, but can open up the lanes when the shot has fresh backends.
Additionally, in the plans (but not finished yet) is a particle Ogre for heavier oils, and possibly a hard urethane to replace the Slate Blue.
I will add the spec info to your order, and get it out to you as soon as we release it."

Thanks again,
Jason Wonders

Maybe they will be doing something in the future but it doesn't seem like it's going to happen immediately.

Would be nice to have a successor for the SBG. There seems to be quite a demand for a hard urethane ball for dry lanes, even if it is a special purpose ball.
