Had the Spartan drilled up last Monday night before league.  Let me preface this by saying that I have not been able to throw anything along side the Spartan to give a true comparison of how the ball does!!!

With that caveat in mind, let me say that this ball allowed me to play where I normally don''t play!!  

My profile shows that I can play the lanes 3 ways for your THS and depending on how the night goes dictates where and what I do.  At most, my version of a swing shot might see me venture out and throw around 15-17 at the arrows out to 5-6 board.  Not cranker numbers without a doubt!!!

But with the Spartan I was able to move even more left, tossing over 18-20 and got the ball out a couple times to the 2-3 board.  For me, that''s an additional 6-7 board swing overall when you take at the arrows and break.  

As the night went on, I found my best shot to still be around 13-15 but I was still able to continually put the ball out around 3-5 board, so I was still a couple boards left at arrows and a board or 2 stronger at break.

Continuation was excellent through the pins!!!  Used the ball all 3 games with only real change being less hand in the ball on one lanes since I left 2 3-6-10s in a row.  Once I remembered.....less hand in the ball still put me in the pocket and the ball still had plenty to drive.

All night I think I saw 3 10 pins and did have 4 solid 9 pins, which I am not really known for.  Overall, shot low 200s first game with 4 strikes and then 3 splits in a row that really killed it.  Then 2 230 games that saw a solid 9 in the 10th take me from possible 250+ games down to the 230 games.  Can''t complain about the ball though.

I am going to try and get a little video this weekend of the Spartan and the New Breed Solid, provided I get the ball back for the weekend from my teammate.

Overall.....very impressed with the ball!!!!  When I threw at All Stars when Jason was here, was really leaning towards the Crossover, but I specifically asked for him to send an extra Spartan, so I went with the original want.  Not sorry at all that I stuck with it!!
