Title: surface changes
Post by: sluggo35 on March 14, 2009, 04:47:24 PM
just wondering what people who bowl with the orge ss have done to the ball with surface changes. think the ball is 2000 grit oob . was thinking of a lower grit 600 3m sand paper then polish . just looking to know what has worked good for you.

Drrev2000, based on what you are saying then, the 4000 abralon will give the ball the same reaction.....just take out the guess work and make it more consistent??

Asking because the ball is supposed to go long and snap.  And if 4000 does the same but removes carry down issues....that's sweet!!

Thanks!

4000ab on an SS will in all likelyhood smooth out the snap and backend movement.  If that's what you are looking for go for it.

I leave mine OOB because I want the snap but I have mine weaker drilled 5" pin to PAP.....so my SS isn't overly agressive.

I'd be looking at going around the carry down with an SS but your entry angles would be effected also.
