Great one,
If you're looking for a ball for dry, I'm really not sure that the Purple Ice is going to be for you. I've had one for a while now, and I'm still trying to determine just where it works the best. From what I've seen so far, it seems that the Ice is at its best when the heads are starting to go a bit and there's a little bit of carrydown. The pearl coverstock gets it through the drier heads, but the light particle load gives it the ability to cut through oil deeper down the lane. If you have that kind of condition, then the Ice will shine. The ball rolls great and hits a ton on that shot. However, if you have lighter oil all the way down, or clean backends, plan on going way deep, as the Ice has a ton of movement in it. To tell you the truth, this ball outhooks my granite gargoyle overall, it just makes its move a lot later. It's a great ball, but be careful with drilling and coverstock prep if you want to use it for dry. Good luck and be sure to give it a chance, as it's a great ball once you get used to it.

Bowling is without a doubt the dumbest, most pointless, most idiotic excuse for a game that has ever been invented. So, what time are we bowling tomorrow?
