I love the looks of the ball, but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!

Strong ball!!

What conditions are you bowling on?

I don't have the New Breed Solid but to of my best friends do.  One of which is imjouster who visit this site frequently.  I will say though that they are very early rolling and aggressive balls and they just destroy the pocket.  Definitely something that I am looking at getting a hold of myself. The new breed pearl looks like a good one as well cause it makes it down the lane quite a bit before it makes a move to the pocket.  Would say that it is a skid flip ball but it does have a nice even roll at the brake point.  Overall these to balls look to compliment one another very well.

I have the Pearl great ball, kind of looks like the Brunswick Rampage. Had a solid in my hand, didn't buy one, it is for sure people will ask what it is. Very different look.

I think the NB Solid looks alot better in person then on the flyer.

I didnt care too much for me new breed pearl , so i gave it to my wife.

I think you would really like the Gladiators, if you are looking for a cool color scheme go with the pearl, the solid just looks like the Cell to me.

I love both of these , as well as the Ogre line

I can't believe that sooo many people are going to suggest the New Breeds, without a mention of possibly the most versatile Visionary ball ever...the Frankie May Gryphon. I'll tell you what, this ball can handle anything for me except the extreme floods and deserts. This ball has seriously upped my average 10 pins on my Wednesday night league (I can say this, cause it's the only ball I've thrown for strikes the last 4 weeks there).

No matter what you decide though, it'll be a good choice as long as it has that VBP logo on it.

well i bowl on a 41' house shot that has a tendancy to start of really tight open up and then tighten back up i mainly use one of my 2 hyroads but i need something that will roll a little earlier and have heard all the good things about visionary balls and have drilled several for others but none for myself
i was also looking at a ogre and the gladiator

FMG from what you say would be good early rolling solid.  Much like the HyRoad but more cover and lower Rg.

Another vote for the FMG (from personal experience and fandom)!

If you want to try a VBP ball, this is IMHO the one to go for. It is a strong piece, yet simple and easy to handle, you cannot do much wrong with it.

Surface tunes easily, and with proper setup and surface you can cover a wide range of conditions with it except for the extremes.
