VBP Mixed Breed
« on: August 22, 2011, 03:50:19 AM »

Just got word that it is now usbc approved. This is gonna be an animal on the lanes. I am looking forward to getting this ball.

Not too many people here in Ca. know how good Visionary bowling balls are, but they should. VBP makes some great bowling balls that last a lot longer than other manufacturers.

More info to follow soon.

I guarantee that it will chew through the rack. The pins and your opponent will feel like it was a wild pack doing the attacking.

How would this be compared to something like the Frankie May Gryphon?

JMO thru some of the facts that I have gathered...roll of a Spartan thru the mid-lane I imagine a lot like an FMG if the covers were close to the same and the backend of a Breed ball.  If the layout and covers were close to the same.

I see Kenny is going to spin a ball on a DeTerminaor....the Mixed Breed ch-flash?

I would want to know how they line up and not just for before drilling but where the PSA is after drilling and how large and where I would place an X hole on gradient line to move the PSA for the ball reaction I would want.

Visionary now has the ball on the visionary website.  For this ball they actually list the intermediate differential of the ball, which is .015-----something I do not believe they had listed on any other assyms they have released.

Is the fact that they are mentioning the intermediate differential of this ball indicate that it has a higher mass bias than any of the others assyms they have? I know that my purple Ice's(2) are mild assyms..but I have always wondered how much the int diff is on my immortal solid or my midnight scorchers(2)? Now that they are revealing the int diff on a new ball, would they be willing to let us know the exact numbers on the past products, I'd just be curious is all.

When I get one I'll be spinning it and see where the PSA winds up before and after drilling along with how large of an X hole on the gradient line and how much that moves that PSA but I also think surface as always will be a huge determining factor on how this ball reacts and what conditions it will work best on.  Sadly house conditions and this ball with my stats. just don't match up.  It will be a tourney ball for medium-heavy for me.

I do not not know if the intermediate differential is an higher than the previous offerings, but it's being mentioned is the result of it becoming a more frequently asked question.
