VBPadvertising - Class Act
« on: May 08, 2008, 04:55:10 PM »
Just getting back from spending a couple of hours talking with VBPadvertising, aka Jason Wonders.

Very impressed meeting him.  Great guy....extremely down to Earth and an absolute joy to talk to.  We are here in San Antonio for TCBA Tournament which Visionary sponsors and he's here for his part.  Met him over an open dinner, but more there for the drinks!!

We talked about some stuff, ranging from Visionary equipment to Faball history to kids and the sport of bowling.  I will say that I was totally impressed by how easy going he was and how a couple of us literally passed 2-3 hours talking like it was nothing.

As I told him, the thing that was awesome in meeting him was that he stayed and talked.....he wasn't rushing to get out and do his stuff....he took the time to talk for that period.  Totally class act!!

Thanks Jason!!

Jason is a very classy guy. Always tries to find time to talk to anyone about anything. Ever have a question, he can answer it or will find the answer for you! Jason is a pleasure to deal with on a daily basis from my end. Never heard a complaint or anything negative about him. For those of you who have talked or dealt with him, you know why!

I've never had the pleasure of meeting him, but I have had the opportunity to talk to him a couple of times on the phone and he has always been willing to answer any questions (he answered the phone when Betsy was off).  I always feel that I dont want to take up his time since I'm sure he has more important things to do, so I am always the one to cut the conversations short, but he does seem very down to earth and easy to talk to.

In the breif and limited e-mails I have had with Jason, he has been more than helpful and willing to answer any question I ask.  Great guy to talk to.

Nope Darin,

Golf season is here.  Ogre Pearl is my go to ball....I can't get a better ball than the OP the last number of years.

Used my OP and Solid Gladiator at WC both great control balls for a tough lane condition.  Those two balls you don't get any better than that....IMO!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the kind words.  I had a great time in San Antonio, and it was very nice meeting all of you.  Everyone there was a pleasure to deal with, and I couldn't ask for a better group of individuals representing us.

I am just grateful that we are able to sponsor one of the largest, and best travel leagues in the world.

I want to give a special thanks to Joe and Dee for their hospitality and kindness.

I also want to say thanks to Gary, Scott, Wally, Mark, Keith, Stacy, Lori, Dianne, Liz, Sammye, Stanley, Dave, Bill, Jeff, Fred, Jim, Charles, Kelly, and all of the other individuals that I met who support us and help run the TCBA tournaments.  I know that I am forgetting some names, and I apologize for that (my memory isn't what it used to be).

Rod22875, I was there for some of the second squad, but I had to go back and forth between the two centers to try and meet as many people as I could.  I am sorry that we didn't get a chance to chat, but hopefully we can meet up in Dallas for the All Star Tournament.

Thanks again,
Jason Wonders

Rod, which one were you.  I might remember as I can recall some of you.  You guys took 3rd or 4th if I remember and bowled the Westcreek team out of Ft Worth in the last match.
