Hey everyone,

Don't forget that I am running the same video contest as before, and the winner will get our next release....the Gladiator Pearl.  Keep in mind the same rules are in effect for this contest.

Any videos that were entered into the previous contest will not be eligible in this contest.

Love the vid, darkman.  I liked the reaction overlay, I tried that in my videos but it never looked quite right.  Love the super closeups of the hits too!

BLT, I like the way you used multiple balls on the same lane, it really showed the reaction difference on the same condition.  PM sent, btw.

Hey MI 2 AZ!  Yes that ball has certainly interested me and yes I've heard people say it is kind of like the BH except with more pop.  Visionary made that ball with some very interesting material!  I have tried to get one on a few occasions, but the asking price was either too steep for me or I got outbid!

And the winners are

1st Place:  dropptonhed (bronze AMB/Immortal videos)

2nd Place:  darkman (gladiator video)

Once again I would like to thank all of you for participating.  Winners please email me at vbpadvertising@aol.com with your shipping addresses and I will get the prizes out to you.

On a side note, bltbyj - was the pindeck loose on that lane or is it the video?  I watched your video about 10 times last night to see if it was the angle of entry, deflection, or what was causing you to leave the 10 pins, and I kept noticing that the pin deck was bouncing when the ball hit the pit.  If you watch the 10 pin closely, there are quite a few shots where the pin actually jumped off of the lane, which makes me wonder if that causes the pin direction to change enough to leave those.  If you watch the first shot with the Ogre Pearl, it looks like the entire deck lifts up.  I don't think I have ever seen a 6-pin just fall over flat like that before....Odd.

Great job guys, they were very nice videos.  Even though I did not win, being this was our first time making videos, the wife and I had fun with this so we may do more videos in the future?   Thanks for running the contest Jason!

Jason,
It's more than likely the video I leave some of the craziest
ten pin leaves in different houses.

P.S.
Thanks for running a great contest I had fun. Hope there will be
another one.

I don't know, I have slowed that video down and magnified it, and I really don't see any pixelation that would make the video appear like that.  I have seen loose pin decks, but not that bad (if it is the lane).  If nothing else, it would make bowling there alot more interesting.

Or maybe you don't move your body a board or 2 right to kick out the 10 pin?

LOL, yes you are absolutely right....but I was just trying to figure out why he left them on those particular shots, not if there was an adjustment to make.

Obviously, when you conintuously leave 10 pins an adjustment needs to be made, but there is always a reason for leaving them in the first place, and that is what I was trying to figure out.

Jason,
I'll e-mail the Windows version to you and see if you see the same thing.

As for the ten pins when the camera was off I couldn't miss. When I
turned on the camera it was ten pin city.

Of course you do, it couldn't have anything to do with the bowler
