Title: Violet Gargoyle

So...how's everyone's laid out, what condition are you using (or have used) it on, what surface do/did you have on it, what do/did you like and dislike about it?

I'm looking for a place in my bag some where below the New Breed solid and potentially an Ogre pearl with a strong layout and some surface.

I had mine drilled in a 105. deg. layout. Or a label 1:30 some would call it. 4" pin to PAP and 5" PAP to CG. I am 5" over and 0. In OOB it was a great ball on wet/dry walls. I could hit it and stay aggressive out to the dry in OOB surface it wouldn't over react. Depending on what you bowl on it could be just what the Dr. ordered.

Happy medium between the Green Gargoyle and the Blue Sparkle Gryphon. Little weaker overall than the Gladiators.

Would a surface adjustment allow it to reach a point where it can cover similar conditions of the solid?

Very versatile ball though!!

I have it laid out 60*5*35 pin over the ring finger and surfaqced at 2000ab.

I only used it one game but I hit the nail on the head with the layout and surface, got exactly what I wanted...which doesn't happen all that often.

Very nice length, smooth transition down the lane, controllable and not jumpy at all, blended out the wet dry easily.

I need to use it on a solid medium condition the surface doesn't fare well on anything lighter than that. It can play well from inside but I can't cross too many boards with it before it rolls out.

I can compare it to my Pluto which is what I wanted to duplicate, since it's close I am satisfied. The violet is a touch earlier.
