I figured I would start posting some of what I have experimented with to give people ideas and my findings.

I am a speed dominate player, about 18-19 mph ( unsure of my rev rate) and if I'm not careful, I can get over 21+.
I've been trying to keep it at 17 mph or so and add some revs to it. I play the outside from anywhere from 7 board to the 15 board depending on what I'm using and what the shot dictates. I've been bowling now for alittle over a year so I'm still learning alot!

I'll start posting some things throughout the day, please feel free to offer advice etc.

Thanks!

Today I bowled in our city doubles/singles.
The alley we bowled at today was 20 feet synthetic, the rest wood. For singles (third series on the pair) and towards the end of the first game I broke out the slate gargoyle I drilled with the pin on my axis. The second game I go 4pin, 7 in a row and I got tug happy .  Worked very nice when I hit my target and blew up the rack!!

Which ones?  All the ones I looked at were okay.

maybe save some cash on buying balls and get some intense coaching.

Not bashing you. I like the thread and the information( isn't that what this site is all about)

I haven't bowled regionals yet. Its in the future...

Also I'm being coached. I'm getting better and better. Thanks

Threw my newly punched New Breed Pearl last night with the VAL layout aka the Tommy Jones layout.
Threw it the tail end of the second game and the third game. The ball is very aggressive, and I think it would be that way minus the layout. With the layout the ball goes long and at the last second makes a hard left turn to the pocket. Very nice ball!! Gotta learn it's tendencies some more but it's gonna be a winner!

Now with the New Breed solid it's a different story. I may have messed up and should have not gotten a 1-2 in pin. The coverstock seems to me to be very aggressive at box finish and also at 2000 abralon. It burns out 45 feet down the lane. I should practice with the ball more before I throw it againnin league. Or I might take it up to 4000 abralon and see what happens. I will keep an update on it.

I'm not you're coach but i was taught not to force it so much that was my problem when the ball would start moving left early i would throw it harder to try and get it to my break point and don't get me wrong some times thats not bad but the consistency thing becomes and issue cause i've thrown a 15lb ball 30.6 mph thats is at 40ft not from my hand yes it does shatter the pins but there is no way we can bowl a whole game like that, with the balls coming out now a days and looking at the arsenal you have you should be able to just let the ball do the work so you don't have to do so much, most patterns have almost 3 boards of forgiveness as long as you are consistent with that speed just some information for ya

Thanks for the info. Yeah I have a hard time at times keeping that under control.

Nor Cal,
"just let the ball do the work."

Now who has told you this before?
