I have been practicing and throwing 3 of the balls that I got with my membership alot lately, and should be getting the reviews done any day now...but here's what I can say (throwing all 3 on 2 different THS and Viper and Cheetah:
3-balls = Frankie May, Immortal Pearl, and Purple Ice Executioner.
Frankie May: This is a very strong ball OOB. I have thrown with
much success. Is a very strong, yet smooth move to the pocket. Hooks a ton! It outhooks my Lane#1 Solid Carbide Bomb by about 3 boards total (though not quite as angular), and is only about 2-3 boards weaker than my Visionary Midnight Scorcher (though that ball is drilled to roll at my feet).
Grade = A++ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Immortal Pearl: I was somewhat unsure about this ball when first deciding whether or not I'd match up well with it...glad I decided to get it! It gets down the lane easy, while still maintaining a very strong backend move with OOB cover. It gets down the lane as easy as my Green Gargoyle, but has about a 4 board bigger backend movement than the Greenie, and is about 2 boards stronger than my Storm Fired Up (which the Fired Up is drilled to roll up a bit earlier but still have backend POP).
Grade = B+ (Still isn't as strong in heavier volumes than I thought it might be)
Purple Ice Executioner: This is the ONLY Visionary ball that I've ever really heard negative things about but since I match up sooo well to Particle Pearls, I HAD to give it a shot. I mean, c'mon, it IS a Visionary ball after all...it can't POSSIBLY be bad....right? Well, I Started by drilling this ball Stacked Leverage, and figured I'd try it with OOB cover (which I figured wouldn't be how I kept it....since every other PP covered ball I've ever thrown was pretty polished by the time I was done with it). I have to say that I was really worried that this ball
might finally be the first Visionary product I couldn't talk good about. It rolled worse then terrible! I decided that I'd start messing with the cover prep....went from OOB (600 wet sand) to 1000 Abralon, and it still rolled bad! Now 2000 Abralon with some Neo-Tac Hook It (since the shop was out of Renew-It)...BRILLIANT! Now I see why people like Livespive love the Executioner core! This ball rolls better on the PBAX Cheetah shot than any other ball I throw! Very smooth through the front of the lane....makes a predictable read of the midlane, and a continuous move to the pocket! Very strong hit! I would say that this ball is about 2-3 boards stronger than my Morich Onslaught (though the Onslaught is 100% backend...very skid/snap for me), and about the same in total hook as my Columbia300 Flipside Wired (thought the Wired is more of a smooth start to finish reaction, as compared to the small but noticeable motion the Purple Ice makes at the breakpoint).
Grade = A- (although I would like to throw more on THS to get an even better feel for the ball)!
All in all, I would definately have to suggest that you get a Frankie May, though looking into an Immortal (since they are no longer making the core) wouldn't be a bad idea either!
Hope this helps...

How do any of these balls compare to the total NV? That is what I am using now, but I took it down to 2000 rather than 4000 that was oob. It works for what I have been bowling on this summer but again they might increase the oil during the fall league. Also what about the immortal pearl, I would love to try a flair monster like that, anyone throw it?
