Take a Ogre SS and drill it fairly weak.  You dont have a profile as far as ball speed and rev rate so it is a little difficult to pinpoint an exact ball.  My thoughts, though, are the SS.

Assuming dry lane use here???

Another possibility might be the Blue Sparkle Gryphon or the Slate Blue Gargoyle, both of which might be hard to find!!

Other retro models might include the  Red Sorcerer or Orange Warlock.

Good luck!!

On edit, heard good things about the Gladiator LE as well....and one I would like to try.  For me, I use the Gladiator Pearl and have it polished as the next step above the Blue/Green Centaur.

Thanks for the input guys. I do have a Gladiator Pearl that appears to be two steps above the B/G. What I will do is put it in the polish machine and see if that will do the trick. I will return later this week and let you guys know my findings. Carlos

For me the Gladiator pearl is three steps above my BG Centaur but that's due to surface and major layout differences.

It's possible to use the Gladiator pearl, also the Ogre SS as Twohand suggest's.

Lot's of good suggestions... Glad LE, Green Gargoyle, Crimson Executioner...possibly all with a layout towards the weaker side...not completely weak though.

The Orange Warlock is a different breed of beast...the core is ridiculously strong so if you wound up with one definitely drill it weak...mine melted in the ball return from 7+" of flare I got.  It could work though.

Heh...and the Blue Sparkle Gryhpon...(wish I had mine still) that may be a bit too strong but a weak layout and surface prep could work.  For me it was flippy as hell when I scuffed the shine off it was pretty strong.  I'd say a little stronger than my current Gladiator pearl.

Used the B/G on a THS on Wend. and shot 659 and used it again on Sat. shot 663. Did not get to use the GP. The B/G is first out the bag for now. I thought I could only use it in the last game of league play but that's not the case. I just have to move right and maybe just slow it down just a touch. More dependable ball than some others, only wish I could carry every pocket shot. Great ball.

I use a Violet Gargoyle as my next step up from the B/G.  Less snappy than the SS for me, and similar oil handing capabilities.
