While I'm mainly looking for guidance from those of you that have seen me bowl, any help will be appreciated.
I'm going to take advantage of the gold option from Visionary. What 4 balls would match up best for my style.
Thanks, Darold

Hey Sr. I haven't seen you bowl, but if I remember right you live close (or in) St. Louis. If I were you, call Visionary up. Betsy is awesome. I have dealt with her personally when I joined and went to pick up my equiptment directly from them. Anyways, when you call, let Betsy know and she will put you in touch with Mr. Wunders (or is it Wonders??). I spent quite awhile on the phone with him describing what I want & how I play----he was very helpful/knowledgeable. Basically, I'm loving my G-3 Gryphon and Centaur AMB right now. So, call in---talk to the owners (try that with the BIG companies!)
Good luck!! Kevin

So,
How is FL there Salt? Long time no see.
Getting to bowling now, if I remember correctly you like
balls that read the midlane?
The balls that I am going to recomend are all from the current lineup.
Heavy oil
Granite Gargoyle, *Charcoal Executioner
Med
*Charcoal, Violet Gargoayle, Frankie May sig ball/G-3 Gryphon
Light
Green Gargoyle
Assuming your xxxl is still good you don't need the slate blue for dry.
* I would suggest that you get at least one Charcoal Executioner. If you drill it label leverage it can handle different conditions with a cover change.
The same is supposed to be true of the frankie may ball.
I would suggest the two Charcoals, then the Green Gargoyle, and one of the two Gyphons.

only skimmed but I just want to let you know that the green gargoyle, in my opinion, is no dry lane ball. Medium/light at best if you like to swing it a lot.

I think my stats may be close to yours SrKegler. That said, I have not found a bad ball from Visionary, just some that I prefer over others. For me:
Heavy - Granite Gargoyle
Med/Hvy - Charcoal Ex
Med - Blue Gryphon
Med/Light - Green Centaur, Violet Gargoyle
Light - Green Gargoyle, Amulet Glow (urethane)
Dry - Amulet (plastic) if you can find one used.
Note: Have not tried the G-3, Slate Blue, AMB Centaur, or Frankie May Gryphon.

Yeah the purple ice was very specific.
I have two, one use one NIB. I was playing with
the used one and it seems to me that it like early rolling
layouts. This eliminates all of the backend difficulties
that everyone seems to be having.
