Any Interest??

Well, I am taking an extended break from this game that I have come to love and enjoy. Unfortunately, I simply do not have the desire or motivation to bowl this upcoming season. In fact, I'm not sure if I'll ever bowl competitively again. I just feel like I've lost that spark. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I have some Visionary stuff that I want to clear out. It can all be had at cheap prices as I just want to clear everything out.

All balls are 15#. PM me with any questions or offers.

It's unfortunate to hear that you might've lost your "spark" for bowling, but at least you realize it now instead of in the middle of a fall league. Hopefully it's just something that will pass...

Yeah, i've had the summer off and haven't even missed bowling at all. i actually "forced" myself to go the other day to see if i could light the fire, but to no avail, i didn't have any desire to be there. So, i'm taking the time off and we'll see what the future holds.

LOL, you're absolutely right. It actually surprises me a bit though because I figured that at least the Kinetic would draw some interest. Nope, nothing yet on those though. I've got ONE Visionary ball left to sell and that's it, they are gone.

I was reading back through the posts and just wanted to add that I find it strange that I lost my spark and desire to bowl. Last season was what I consider to be my best season yet. I averaged consistently in two leagues, 205 & 203. While these aren't my highest averages in my "career", I felt like I really bowled well all year. I shot more 700's this past season than I had in my entire "career" coming in. You'd think that after having such a good season, by my standards, that I'd want to build on that and come back even better.

Maybe taking the summer off from bowling was a bad idea. It seems to have distanced me from the one sport that I have truly loved for the past 10 years and in all honesty, I am considering hanging them up for good. I know its too soon to say that, but I am having a hard time believing that I will be able to get the spark again and light the fire that made me want to bowl every single day. Oh well, even though I won't be bowling, I'll still be hanging around the forums, especially this one!!!

Well, enough of the sob story.....still got one more Visionary ball to move....c'mon guys!!!

Ryan,

You may regain that spark if you feel bored later this year.  

I am dropping one league for sure and might even wind up bowling one night a week down from three last year.  I think the uneasy economy might have something to do with a lot of folks curtailing their hobbies/sports.  

I may wind up bowling more tourney's though.  I did OK $$$ wise last year.
