G-3 Vs Centaur AMB Bronze
« on: December 16, 2005, 05:28:54 AM »
I know both of the balls are designed to be skid/snap reaction. Has anybody thrown both balls? If so, how much different are the reactions?

Lion,

What Centaur AMB are you referring?  The AMB Pearl is not considered a true skid/flip ball.  The Pearl offers more of a stronger roll than a flip and the pearl cover allows for it's ability to clear dry heads better than the Frankie May.

Let me know what your concern is and I will be happy to help you.

The difference in the two balls:

    AMB Pearl:
    - Designed to read the mid-lane
    - Compliment to the Frankie May in that it will give you a little more length through the heads
    - A much different core design with the flip cap, giving the ball the ability to create a very strong roll.

    G-3:
    - Designed to store energy on the backend for playing inside angles.
    - Compliments the AMB Pearl and Frankie May when they begin to burn up and rollout.
    - The core is the strongest design Visionary has, allowing the ball excellent recovery and angularity to the pocket.
