The tournament was held August 19th - 21st at Nutmeg Bowl (home of BuddiesProShop.com) in Fairfield, CT. Sponsors included: Brunswick, Columbia, Legends, LaneMasters, Ebonite, Hammer, Track, Storm, Roto Grip, Morich, and Etonic. This was a scratch event. 12 Games of qualifying, with the top 32 advancing to the two game double elimination finals.

The only other bowler to average over 200 was Mike Wodzinski, East Meadow, NY who finished 11th and averaged 202.2 for 20 games. The average to make the cut was 176.2 for 12 games.

98 bowlers from nine states competed in the tournament (82 boys, 16 girls). A total of $9,400 in scholarships was awarded and five bowlers won spots to the Junior National Gold Finals in Fort Lauderdale, FL next July.

The JBT awarded a new record $156,164 in scholarships for the 2004-05 season.
