Congrats to David Knight Jr. at the JBTS
« on: July 01, 2006, 12:23:01 PM »
Just a quick kudos to David Knight Jr. winning the scratch division at today's
JBT. The day included him shooting 2 279's and a 300 during the final match for the win.

Boy is an animal.  I get to see him bowl about two or three times a year for the past 2 or 3 years and every time he is running off 279s like it's nothing.  I even saw him throw back to back 279s in the semis and finals of a JBT in delaware last season.  It's amazing watching him and seeing how young he is with such a polished and powerful game.

The first time I ever saw him bowl was when he was practicing before a tournament.  I was going to get a lane to practice myself, but I was just in awe of how he seemed to have that ideal combination of power and smoothness.  I actually didn't even bother practicing and continued watching, hoping to pick up on things and learn.  And you'd think from watching him bowl that he was just walking around in the park, not really doing anything.  No tension or anything.
