Am I right in understanding that this kid has claimed to have bowled 3 900's?  They said that one in november was not approved and then december, followed by February?  That would be like the coming of a bowling god!  Sounds like a good story to me...

Thats some funny Sh*t.  Three 900 series, the odds are so far against him its crazy.  I'll put him in the 170 range not because he hasn't bowled on sport patterns that often, but rather because I think he has not talent and is a cheating hack.

The jeolously rears it's ugly head!

Depends on what shots he has been practicing on,  what drills he has come with...his spare making ability etc.

They say when people drive in their cars they are more aggressive because they are anonymous.  That is how I believe the internet is!  The flaming and trashing of this young man is over the top.

There are many bowlers including PBA regional stars who believe he is every bit capable of 900 and more than 1.

I am not one of those stars but I believe he is capable of it on a friendly shot...which is what 900s are shot on!

Robert Mushtare doesn't need to make spares.  Not when he shoots five 900s.  Sheesh.  I should point out, too, that Chuck Norris only has four 900s.

Lucky, everyone has a right to express their opinion. Even you, as much as yours is beginning to make me sick. Why do you feel that you have to defend him all the time? Also what the heck is a PBA Regional Star? The people that I have bowled tourneys and regionals with say just the opposite, no way he did it.

Ok Lucky lefty, I'm starting to believe that you might have a thing for Mushtare....Or maybe you ARE ROBERT MUSHTARE!!!! Whatever the case my be, he won't make the first cut, he'll barely average 150, and he'll be laughed outta Fort Lauderadale.

Lefty,

Your statement on the anonymity of the Internet is entirely true and SHOULD go both ways.

So, in order to avoid contributing to further anonymity, could you please enlighten us with the names of these regional pros and the like who believe that the Second Coming is more than capable of these feat(s)?

Thanks,
Chris

Umm no.  He has never shot 900.  I don't care what the USBC says he's never shot 900.  I have never heard of a respectable bowler justifying the story, so I'll have to hear it straight from the regional stars and even then I won't believe it.  No one has ever shot two 900's and it is an increadibly rare feat to have shot just one.  When he first claimed one 900 I believed the story, if lined up perfectly and getting all the breaks/bowling well on an easy shot it can be done, but 5 you have to be kidding.  Its not jealosy, its just impossible.  Also I saw that news clip with him bowling and he's not all that smooth nor does he throw a particularly good ball.

I'll take my prediction down a notch and give him only a 160 average.

Best thing that could happen to this kid right now is for him to get hurt and not shoot the JOG.  No matter how well/ bad he does, he will never live up to the standard that he himself has set.  Im with everyone else on this board though, I highly doubt he will averaged much more then 170's.  He's really not that good.  He may throw a decent shot, and on a big enough wall, anyone can score huge numbers.  The JOG shot is by no means a wall.   If he isn't extremely accurage with throwing his spare striaght, it will be a VERY long tourney for him.  It will be interesting to see what happens.

I will have to get their permission first.

I have not met Robert Mushtare nor do I know him.  I am looking forward to meeting him though!

I just believe these have not been shot in league easy conditions because of mental barriers.  Also clearly prebowling by yourself or with a partner is easier because of transitions.

There should be 5 times the totals of 900s if not 10 times due to many houses with nice conditions.  I believe this was a performance like Alexeev in the clean and jerk going over 500 lbs.  The only difference is how people are reacting to it.

They have taken such umbrage they instead of going out and cleanand jerking 500 pounds by over 70 other lifters in a year. They are so focusing on how and why it can't be done that i believe they are planting a long time mental seed to NOT do it!

Great conditions...powerful bowler,...lively pins....pre bowling to make it easier to read transitions.  There should be many many many 900s in this country!  The missing element...people mentally prepared to do it!
HIS performance should be the catalyst...it's not!
