Most pins over average?
« on: May 22, 2006, 06:02:50 AM »
My girlfriend and I were talking a few days ago in her basement, she started pulling out old score sheets and league standing sheets and I noticed one that was pretty interesting. When she was 13 (18 now) she had a 131 average (currently averages 172) and shot 727. 252, 249, 226. I have never heard of any one going more than 300 pins over average, but I'm sure somebody else has. Whats the most pins over average you guys have ever heard of?

My most pins over average happened this season. I do not know what I ended the day out with the series, but I shot a 227 game, and that game was 64 pins over my average. I ended out the league as Most Improved!

Bowled a 233 with a 155 average this season....78 pins over my average.

I had a 575 series in a tournament in Daly City this year and when they added in handicap I was 4th place.

Bagger is what they called me in Daly City.

I Just started taking lessons about half-way through the season and started getting better then my average indicates. It will work itself out but I am going to get called a bagger everytime I do well for a while.
