well since i was there and did bowl heres my take on the change. i was neither pleased nor dismayed by the change and like gold does i think it was a neat idea, at the same time i feel that it should not have been done....so who knows. but as far as my opinion, i think they changed it bcuz it was soo challanging. had they continued with that shot, then the cut would have been minus 250 or even 300, which just doesn't look very good (politically speaking). so the new shot helped even out the field, and as said the shot was still different and players where either killing it or missing it. i got the chance to kill it and actually finished off that day plus pins, but for me it was just to late.

at the start of the last block i believe cut was around -160/180, at the finish of it all i believe it went up to like 140 (correct me if im wrong anyone,who was there) but in any case we will never know, all that can be done is to be prepared for next year, and trust i will be there. ready for some mason, carmicheal, conucil, blancahard, fuzeukime, and all the rest of you (sorry if i killed you name). take it easy guys......
