The cut two years in a row was -263 and -264. Not sure which year was which.

Bowl as if you are the one needing to win the tournament. Just wanting to be in the cut isn't going to be enough. If you plan on being -250 for 18 games, you will only be in the back end of the top 130 or so, and that is far from making the crucial round of 16. That's why I'm saying to play to win the tournament.

bring your spare ball!!!! past 2 years i didnt bring a spare ball cause i always thought "oh i could throw it straight at the spares no problem with a lot of speed." yeah right! it just threw me off more and got me upset cause i was missing 7 pins to the left and right.

this year they will be taking alot more bowlers, 1 in 7 make cut and there is like 1620 kids, meaning probably 1150 are guys, meaning about 165 kids will make cut this year, I expect cut to be around 300 under

And Then...........

I left another 10 pin

im going with 240 under for cut... but we will see when we get there.. it also all depends on the shots that get put out which i would guess are gonna be drier than last years... just a guess

Thats what i heard from a couple of people that the shots are going to be drier .  One guy told me that you might have to play the gutter and i dont mean the cap i mean 1st arrow out.  But the problem is most people try to guess wut its like and they prepare for something that might not even be there.  Im not really making guesses just bringing everything for every different condition.  And i will see wut the lanes give me and go from there.

one of the things thats different this year is you can practice with any number of balls you want on the condition and you don't have to turn your card in until the first day of qualifying. what i'm gonna do is ship 2 balls to the hotel i'm staying at with the 6 balls im taking on the plane just in case.

a very fun yet horrible idea i will be driving to INDI... so with that... i will probably also be bringing 8 balls with and choosing 6 on site... its a cool idea that they are allowing us to practice with whatever we would like... but for people who are flying it is pricy... that is the upside to driving... taking as many balls as necessary... my only for sure ball that is going with me is my plastic ball the other 5 spots could be anything at this point

Hello,

Good idea from ABC Nationals-- ship your balls UPS to the tournament site (or your hotel, etc)... A case of 4 only cost like 30 bucks, and you have to send them 5-7 business days in advance (I think)... check your local UPS....

Thanks,
Jeff

Yeah Im in squad 8 too. Im flying, so I am just taking 5 balls. That is enough for me...if I had anymore, I think just that itself would confuse me.
