We need more participation. Anyone in Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, or the northern part of Florida try the SSJBA events. SSJBA is dying out and we need more people to come and bowl. It is for juniors up to the age 21 and are still in school. It is a sanctioned event so you get scholarships for winning. There are three age divisions minors (164-below averages) classics (165-184) masters (185-up). It goes by your league average at the time so bring proof of your average or you'll be put in masters automatically. You have a chance to win any storm ball of your choice at these events by getting the highest game over average. So if someone with a 200 average bowls 300 and someone with a 140 average bowls 250 the 140 average bowler would win the ball. The events are over two days, and it is required to wear slacks and a collared shirt. The first day is an 8 game qualifying block. The second day is match play and depending on the number of participants you will bowl everyone who made the cut to the second day once and then a position round. After the match play is over they take a certain number of bowlers depending on participants and have a stair step finish. The winner gets 100 dollars scholarship, second gets 50.
