JOG questions

I just got my paperwork yesterday but it doesnt say anything about how to regester ur balls when u get there.

The problem that i have is one of my fav balls was given to me by a friend but he sanded it down to 80 grit and took off the serial number, is this ball leagl?

If you can't get it engraved with the actual number, you're screwed. No number means not legal. At least when it involves sanctioning honor scores.

I believe the ABC (USBC?) rules state that the serial number just has to be more or less unique.  If it's sanded off, any number can be re-engraved.  It doesn't have to be the original.  They're just to identify a particular ball and don't have to be approved or assigned or anything like that.
