Junior Gold Qualifications for 2007 Team
« on: October 26, 2006, 09:35:22 AM »
There is a bowler who is bowling the PBA Masters in Wisconsin and is on Junior Team USA for 2007.

My questions are:

1. Does he get replaced on the Team since he is no longer a Junior?
2. If not, why not??
3. Who replaces him if they do remove him?

I guess they'll take his name off the list for bowlers that qualified for 2007.

They are having problems getting bowlers young enough as it is to compete for the team.

I know......let's take over the game of bowling and keep making up our own rules as we go along. To hell with our membership. If they don't like it, don't compete. The others who stay behind will still keep paying our salaries. We don't have to cut our cost, we'll just keep raising our fees to cover whatever we spend. Don't believe me? Just look at this past year. Our financial statements showed we lost net assets of @$7M (approx 25% of our value), we raised our fees and you bozos paid it anyway. Just keep sanctioning.

Have you asked this of Roger Dalkin??? Send him an e-mail and see what the official response to the question is. I'm waiting to hear the results of the board meeting the 18th & 19th

Hey SP, don't know if you checked today but it looks like they changed the application form. In order to be eligible you now need a 6.0 GPA, be able to run a mile in 2 minutes and be from a state with varsity bowling that begins with the letter "Z". Once all these requirements are met, you have to submit an extra $50 which will get you the new Clay Aiken rock and bowl CD and an official Brandy Chastain replica sports bra.

I'm in, how about you?
