Hello,
Plans are underway to replace the unfortunately cancelled LVIJT, with a similar event, held the same days- so don't alter your holiday plans! Please check back here, or at www.jbtsw.com, for all the great details as it becomes official!

Any idea the cost for each of these tournament? and can you take a cab from each tournament? or is renting a car going to be cheaper? we will have to fly in the 24th or maybe 23rd. just need to find a adult for the adult/jr.

Wipeout squads are about 45-50 bucks per squad (you can bowl as many as you want). LVIJT/Main Event Last year was a little more than 100 bucks to get in. Sam's Town NO-Tap was probably around 30 (I don't bowl it anymore). Finally, Gary Beck's tournaments average about 80-100 per squad/entry.
Taking a cab from bowling center to bowling center may work... but it is SO EXPENSIVE (especially considering you are C-Dollars where you are from). Try going with someone who can rent a car, honestly, it's more convenient and it could be cheaper.

True that Jeremy! One of us drives, he has his full licence, but he isn't 25 and none of us have credit cards. So far i have checked out the internet travel sites and the cheapest flight is 480cdn plus the dozens of airport taxes. So it'll end up like being 600 each of us to fly there round trip. So it sounds like we are gonna need another 300 USD, so that will be about 400-420 cdn in tournament entries. Plus hotel rooms. we can get a deal on holiday inns( got someone on the insides), so hopefully we won't get raped on that too bad. Um, we are looking at i guess 1400-1500 cdn total, including food and some souvenirs. Hopefully the rental car isn't too bad.

cabs are expensive in vegas. especially going from orleans all the way to sams town and such. If the new tournament will be at gold coast it might not be as bad. Gold coast is just down the street from orleans. But just wait and see what and where jeff puts the tournament...
-
Only thing I would say to watch out for..Alot of states in the US make it so you gotta be 25 to rent a car, so you might want to check that before you get here and they tell you this

And Then...........
I left another 10 pin
-
uggghhhh... anyways, some rental companies let you rent a car if you are over 21, you just have to pay a little extra cash. We did it at Gold in St. Louis, so look into that.

well, we will all be 19 by dec. so none of us meet those standards:s gonna have to beg a friend to come with us.

Worst case senario...there are shuttles from Gold Coast to The Orleans to Barbary Coast and back again. There are also shuttles from Sams Town to Fremont to Stardust and back again. Just an FYI. BTW, those shuttles are free (just give the driver a tip and its all good)!

Hello all,
info on The Main Event will be everywhere- as soon as it's finalized. Check www.jbtsw.com for all the info on it as it develops.
Heck, check out www.jbtsw.com anyway. We hope you'll be impressed.
A cab is a definite last resort in Vegas. The shuttles will help, but a friend who can get a car is even better.
The format will be similar to the LVIJT, as much as time will allow (there's a reason they didn't run it this year...) The main diference is that we believe in paying a much deeper prize fund.
Details as soon as we're final...
