if you go to bowl.com and look on the front page it says that 2 of his 3 prebowled 900's got approved which to me is a complete joke but i guess it is usbc and they are making good moves so far

Never said superhuman!

Just said he did what a lot of other bowlers with similar talent for scoring on high scoring conditions...stop themselves from doing!

wow... guess i know where to go if i really wanna stoop so low to break the 300 record... this is erroneous on all counts...

the kid mine as well sit there at pine planes and just not bowl anywhere else the rest of his life because he will never be taken seriously... and why not just sit there and shoot 10 more 900's before the end of the year...

obviously he must be doing something minorly right i would guess if he could through 36 in a row more than the twice... but those two were approved... just shows the downfall of USBC...

USBC is kinda like George Bush becoming president.... they come into effect and everything goes to hell.... weird

P.S. people should go flyout to this alley and sub and show how ridulous easy the bowling alley is.. because honestly the place must have some crazy area to play with for someone to have the area and luck to shoot "more than two 900 series" and thats just plain common sense

thats all i gotta say really... i will be down watchin squad 5 more than likely to watch my buddy mark french... i hope mushtare does well at gold... for his sake... cuz if he doesnt he will just prove everyone right

I've seen his video.  Not impressive.  Not remotely.  I see better looking bowlers in my Tuesday league.  Of course, on the flat pattern we bowl on, no one has shot 900.  (though there are a number of 300's and the odd 800 or so).  I cordially extend an invitation to Mr. Musthare to come sub for me and we'll see what he's got.  (my money's on one of the local house hacks).

To help you out.

Latest video and story from his home town...clips are from first 900(rejected) story.  Interview is new!

Loft speed and carry!

The fact that his home town newscaster is excited...this is a very small town..of course they are proud!

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS I find him humble and well adjusted in his interviews.

I once watched David Graham (US open winner) hack his way around a local golf course that was a PGA tour site.

Never before had I ever seen a pro golfer hit the ball worse!  If I had been playing next to him I guarantee if you did not know our names you would have thought I was the pro and he was my caddie and I somehow got him an invitation to play!  20 of my friends could have hit the ball better!

We were all commenting that we could beat him...we should think about turning pro...blah blah blah!  This type of worthless blather happens all the time.

We didn't follow him all the way...but when he came in to post his score which we expected to be about 83 to 87!  He posted a 71!  Wha???? We realized WE would have shot 83 to 87 if we hit it that WAY!

2 years later he won the US Open hitting all 18 greens in regulation at Merion!

Never mistake the following 3 things.
A great pro on a tough condition, a great carrying amateur on a wide open condition, actual performance from predicted performance.

Robert Mushtare = 2 900 rings actual performance!

uhm... i have 15  800's and i am totally content with that... thanks....

i dont need to make bowling seem like the easiest thing in the world and shoot two  900's to start killing the integrity of the sport... its just ridiculous.... but like i said he did it and that must be great...

and also u have to agree that the place MUST BE BEYOND WALLED... someone who is shooting two 900's and off the wall 850's , the place cannot be all that hard... hard should not even be in the same sentence as pine planes, New York....

and i thought Sierra in Fresno was easy... sheesh... this is just once again... ERRONEOUS

LL, your title for this thread should be changed.  Mushtare's 900's have been sanctioned; approval has clearly been withheld (by the masses).

Modern bowling/scoring is all about matchups.  His style, revs, tilt, axis rotation, and ball might be the perfect combination for that house.  Once again, what do his "accomplishments" have to do with scoring on tougher shots?  Many top pros don't really tear up league shots because their game isn't geared towards it.  There are plenty of house mouses (*cough* Rev-O *cough*) that don't do much on harder shots.  While we kid them about their lack of ability outside of their comfort zone, we don't tell them they have to give back their 300/800 rings.  Now, maybe he shot a 900 sometime, but I certainly don't think he shot multiple 900's, but USBC is stuck not being able to PROVE that he didn't.

I don't often defend LL, but I agree with one thing he says.  Lots of people keep saying they would destroy his house shot.  Maybe they would, maybe they wouldn't, but until you do, put a lid on it.  Maybe I could tear up Rev-O's house, maybe not.  Maybe Rev-O matches up with it 10 times better than I would.

I've talked to some USBC officials on this matter and from what they tell me if they denied his 900s then they would have a lawsuit on their hands. They know he cheated, but without proof they can't deny it. I guess anyone that wants to be in the record books, just write 900 on a honor score application and send it in. USBC wouldn't know the difference anyway without proof that you didn't do it. Until the delegates get rid of pre-bowling we'll have a lot more 900s now that people got the idea.

Sorry to tell you but he's nothing special its obvious he cheated i mean his dad is the proprietor of the bowling alley and since USBC has that dumb prebowl for honor scores rule he cheated and got away with it good for him, but that doesnt take away the fact that he didnt do it legitmately.  With his practice ones to what does that mean he has like 5 900s how many people have even one? not many. how many pba bowlers have a 900? none. With the way houses are these days in not being checked and constantly kept up to date especially at brunswick houses its hard enough to carry 36 strikes in a row.  His claim that he can adjust to carry corners before he even leaves one cmon everyone knows thats a load of crap!! Just wait till JOG when he doesnt even show up and not even finish in the top half what is everyone going to say then fluke? no prob the biggest cheater/joke that bowling has ever seen!! how pathetic do you have to be to cheat at bowling anyways?  Maybe he should be tested for steroids lol!!
