well chris, the NEXT tournament is only 10 minutes away from where the ejc is.  so that makes your drive to westbrook lanes only about 12 Minutes!!!!  I do believe you do not want to miss the NEXT tournament.  and If you cash in the NEXT, you will actually recieve your scholarship money and a letter in no more than 30 days.  Unlike the EJC where several Juniors including myself did not recieve it for almost a half of a year!!! outragious, so go where the money is and bowl your NEXT tournament at westbrook lanes!  (catchy slogan eh??)

Aim me on SpinITmopper if you have any questions.

Yeah, sounds great.  I signed up for the EJC before I heard about the NEXT and I was close to asking for my money back.  I should have.  The prize money for the EJC was only given out to the top 5 and the funds for the top five were cut in half, only like 600 for first.  It was fun as far as the shot (tough and different) and there was still good competition, but overall I would have rather bowled the NEXT.  It would be better to have only one tournament in the area as each tournament diluted the others money pool and talent pool to a great extent.  I personally would like the NEXT to win out.  It's not a huge issue, but I shot 300 in the "lead up" tournament for the EJC, only to hear that only the main tournament was sanctioned.  If I hadn't already shot one, I would have been rather heated.  It didn't particularly piss me off, but its these type of small issues that detract from the fun of the tournament.

The North East Xtravaganza Tournament turned out to be fantastic.  Despite having a lower amount of entries than anticipated, ONE IN 2.6 ENTRIES GOT PAID!!  I don't think there has ever been a payout that incredible in such a major junior event.
The lane conditions were playable yet very demanding and required great shotmaking.  As only one person was plus, Elysia Current, a Junior Team USA member.  Thank you to all who participated in the event, I pushed this tournament so much because I knew everyone who bowled it would have enjoyed it like they did.  Just so happened that my hardwork promoting the event paid off in the win.  Thanks Jaime, Jared and everyone else, I appreciate it very much.

Keep your eyes peeled for 2007's Memorial Day weekend North East Xtravaganza Tournament!
